Add a "VIP" Status to a Guest Profile (Cloud)


To assign a guest a specific status like VIP (Very Important Person) or "Do Not Rent," you must access the guest profile in the Sales and Marketing section. Modifying the Guest Profile Type directly from a reservation is possible only if the reservation is in the Hold (HLD), Guaranteed (GTD), or Checked-in (IN) status. It cannot be changed for a checked-out or cancelled reservation. In such instances, you need to navigate to the Guest Profile directly.
Path1: Sales and Marketing > Guest Profiler > Search > Open a Guest Profile
Path2: Sales and Marketing > Guest Profiler > Guest Profiler > Search from the toolbox on the right

1. Go to the Marketing Information section and update the Guest Type to VIP.



2. Make sure you Save from the top of the page.



3. The number of VIP arrival can be seen from the dashboard tiles.
